Enabling Access

Time to reflect and share with colleagues

  • What did I learn that increased my understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy?

Learnt heaps about sites and set up. I took some time on the home page, but hopefully it will get easier with practice and time. Sharing is an important part of Manaiakalani pedagogy.

This what I worked on most of the afternoon. I used shapes to link to the marau, in relation to whenu. If definately helps to have a plan before starting on the site.

  • What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow as a professional? Being more prepared with a plan and information on how to do the niti griti things, like saving drawings in download as png.

  • What did I learn that could be used with my learners?  I am excited to show the students our soon to be new work site for class. I will also create cool pictures to use for their blogs and access to their own sites.

  • What did I learn that could improve my confidence, capability or workflow in my personal life? Being more planned and organised. Have a good plan set up before starting something. Making sure I have all the resources ad skills necessary for the plan.

Ngā mahi mō te rā nei.

  • He aha aku akoranga hei āwhina i taku mārama atu ki te ariā ako me te kaupapa o Manaiakalani?

Kia mōhio ai pēhea te hopungia i te hinengaro o te tamaiti ki roto i tōna ake ao tūroa, me te whakapakari ā te whakamana i te tamaiti me tōna akoranga.
ARĀ,
I ako ahau te āhua o te ako, hanga, tohatoha. I ako i ngā āhuatanga o te mahi pae tukutuku, he wāhi tūturu mō ngā mahi māhere ako, kātahi ka kite e ngā tamariki i ngā akoranga. He wāhi anō te whakaatu ngā mahi ako i te ao matihiko, he wāhi mīharo mō ngā tauira, ā he wāhi tūmeke mā te akoranga.

  • He aha aku akoranga hei whakawhanake i te ngaiotanga,  i taku māia, i taku kakama, i te rere rānei a te mahi?

Kua āhua piki ake taku mahi whakaaro nui mā te akoranga whānui o te tamaiti. Me whakaaro me pēhea te takiuru ngā mahi me te pae tukutuku kotahi, heoi anō mā te wā.

  • He aha aku akoranga kia tukua, kia tohaina atu ki āku ākonga?

Kua āhua piki ake taku mahi whakaaro nui mā te akoranga whānui o te tamaiti. Me whakaaro me pēhea te takiuru ngā mahi me te pae tukutuku kotahi, heoi anō mā te wā.

  • He aha aku akoranga hei whakawhanake i taku māia, i taku kakama, i te rere rānei a te mahi ki taku ao whaiaro?

He rawe ngā mahi pae tukutuku mā ngā āhuatanga katoa o ngā mahi ki tēnei kura o Whakawātea. Koinei te te huringa o te ao hurihuri.
